Which rear-view mirrors must a motorcycle whose maximum speed does not exceed 100 km/h have installed?

Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

According to the General Vehicle Regulations in Spain, the requirement for rear-view mirrors on motorcycles (with or without a sidecar) depends directly on their maximum design speed: If it does not exceed 100 km/h: Only the left rear-view mirror is mandatory (the right one is optional). If it exceeds 100 km/h: Both mirrors (left and right) are mandatory. The left mirror is always mandatory to ensure visibility when overtaking and making basic lateral movements. Although the right one is optional in this specific case, it is always recommended to have both installed to minimize blind spots.
