Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

The General Traffic Regulations state that it is mandatory to have a certified high-visibility reflective vest. If you need to exit the vehicle on interurban roads (outside built-up areas) due to an emergency or breakdown, the driver must put it on inside the cabin before getting out of the vehicle. The reason is vital safety: the driver must be visible to other road users from the very moment they step onto the roadway or shoulder. This rule applies regardless of the road lighting conditions.
