Is a 17-year-old driver allowed to transport a minor on a bicycle or cycle?

Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

Spanish regulations establish a specific rule for carrying people on cycles and bicycles. As a general rule, these vehicles are for one person only. However, a child of up to seven years of age may be carried in an additional approved seat, but with one essential condition: the driver must be of legal age (at least 18 years old). Therefore, a 17-year-old driver cannot legally do so, even if the vehicle is equipped for it or they wear helmets.
