What is the maximum limit that must not be exceeded when transporting people in a vehicle?

Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

Traffic regulations strictly establish that the number of authorized seats for the vehicle must never be exceeded. This number is stated in the vehicle's documentation (Registration Certificate and ITV Card). Transporting more people than allowed is dangerous because it implies there will not be seatbelts for everyone, it affects the vehicle's stability and braking, and in the event of an accident, insurance may not cover damages. The number of doors or trunk size is irrelevant in determining the legal passenger capacity.
