As a general rule, when is the transit of draft, pack, or saddle animals and livestock permitted on public roads?

Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

According to the General Traffic Regulations, the transit of animals should preferably take place on cattle trails (drover's roads). Only when there is no practicable cattle trail available is their circulation permitted on public roads (roads or paths), and always under the strict condition of being supervised by someone capable of controlling them at all times. They must travel on the right shoulder or, if none exists, as close as possible to the right edge of the roadway.
