If your vehicle becomes immobilized inside an underpass due to an emergency, what is the correct course of action to take?

Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

In emergency situations inside a tunnel or underpass, safety is critical. The rule dictates that the driver must turn off the engine, switch on hazard and position lights, and place warning devices. Crucially, you must use the nearest SOS post to call for help, as these devices automatically geolocate the incident. Remaining inside the vehicle is extremely dangerous due to the potential accumulation of toxic fumes and the risk of fire or collision; therefore, you must leave the vehicle and proceed to a safe area or shelter.
