Which main disc-shaped elements interact in the clutch system to transmit movement?

Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

Although technically referred to as a 'single-plate clutch' (referring to the friction disc), for movement transmission to occur, two disc-like surfaces must interact: The flywheel (disc connected to the engine) and The clutch disc itself (connected to the gearbox input shaft). The correct answer refers to this mechanical union: one element bringing force from the engine and another receiving it to transfer it to the wheels.
