If, upon obtaining the Class B license, you already hold another driving license with less than 3 years of experience, what is your points balance?

Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

The points-based license system in Spain assigns an initial balance of 8 points to drivers during their first 3 years of driving experience. If you obtain a Class B license but have held another license (such as AM or A1) for less than 3 years, you are still considered to be in the initial period regarding points. Therefore, you maintain the 8-point balance until you complete 3 years of total experience without infractions, at which point it will automatically increase to 12 points.
