Is it permitted to overtake inside a tunnel that has only one lane for your direction of travel?

Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

No, it is strictly prohibited. According to general traffic regulations, overtaking in tunnels and underpasses is forbidden if there is only one lane for your direction of travel. This is because overtaking would require you to invade the lane for oncoming traffic, creating an extreme risk of head-on collision in an area with reduced visibility and limited escape options. It would only be allowed if there were at least two lanes for your direction and the opposite direction was not invaded.
