What is the most effective measure to avoid accident risks associated with using a mobile phone while driving?

Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

Using a mobile phone is a leading cause of distraction behind the wheel. To ensure total safety, the only appropriate measure is to stop the vehicle in a safe and authorized place (off the roadway and shoulder) before handling the device. It is important to remember that stopping at a traffic light or in a traffic jam is still considered driving (you are in traffic flow), so manipulating the phone in those situations is prohibited and punishable (loss of license points). Although hands-free systems are permitted, they still cause cognitive distraction, so the wisest course of action is not to use the phone until parked.
