If there is a contradiction between the indications of a traffic light and a beacon signal, which signal has priority?

Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

The correct answer is the beacon signal. To resolve this, we must look at the priority order established in traffic regulations for different types of signals. The hierarchy is as follows: 1) Traffic officers, 2) Temporary and beacon signaling (cones, barriers, yellow lights, etc.), 3) Traffic lights, 4) Vertical signs, and 5) Road markings. Since beaconing (level 2) is superior to traffic lights (level 3), the former prevails. Important note: The rule of 'the most restrictive signal' only applies when there is a contradiction between signals of the same type (e.g., two different vertical signs).
