How is a special vehicle defined according to traffic regulations?

Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

The correct answer is the vehicle designed and built for works or services. According to the General Vehicle Regulations, a special vehicle is one (self-propelled or towed) designed to perform specific works or services and which, due to its characteristics, is exempt from complying with some technical conditions or exceeds the mass and dimension limits established for ordinary vehicles. Common examples include agricultural machinery (tractors) or public works machinery. The other options are incorrect: a vehicle over 3500 kg for goods is generally defined as a truck, and one intended for large passenger transport is a bus.
