Is all agricultural machinery considered a special vehicle according to the General Vehicle Regulations?

Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

Yes. According to current regulations, agricultural machinery is always classified as a Special Vehicle, regardless of its weight or size. This category covers two main groups: Self-propelled agricultural machinery: Vehicles with their own engine capable of moving independently (e.g., tractors, harvesters). Towed agricultural machinery: Vehicles designed to be towed by a tractor or automotive machine (e.g., seeders, agricultural trailers). The other options are incorrect because the 3,500 kg weight limit affects the license required to drive them, but it does not alter their classification as a special vehicle.
