Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

The correct answer is that they can be self-propelled or designed to be towed. According to General Vehicle Regulations, a 'Special Vehicle' is one conceived to perform specific works or services (agricultural or construction). Within this category there are: Self-propelled: They have their own engine to move, such as an agricultural tractor, a works tractor, or automotive machinery. Towed: They lack their own engine and are designed to be pulled, such as an agricultural trailer or towed machinery. Therefore, stating that they must 'always' be one way or the other is incorrect, as their mobility depends on whether they possess an engine or not.
