In an urban area, if you observe a passenger getting off a bus at a stop situated between the road and the sidewalk, what is your obligation?

Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

Traffic regulations state that drivers must yield the right of way to pedestrians intending to board or having alighted from a public transport vehicle at a designated stop, specifically when they are between the vehicle and the nearest pedestrian zone or refuge. This rule exists to protect vulnerable users who momentarily must occupy the road. Honking is prohibited in urban areas unless to avoid an imminent accident, and ignoring the passenger would constitute a serious infraction and a high risk of running them over.
