When the vehicle is immobilized on the right side of the road, how should the driver enter or exit?

Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

General Traffic Regulations prohibit keeping vehicle doors open, opening them before the vehicle is completely stopped, or opening them/exiting without first ensuring that doing so does not cause danger or obstruction to other road users. Regarding which side to use: The Driver: May enter or exit via the roadway side (left) or the curb side (right), but must always do so with extreme caution and ensuring safety. Passengers: As a general rule, they must always enter and exit on the side closest to the edge of the road (sidewalk or shoulder) to minimize risks. Therefore, the correct option is that the driver can use either side provided it is safe.
