On a road crossing a town (travesía) without specific speed signage, what is the maximum permitted limit?

Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

The correct answer is 50 km/h. A 'travesía' is a section of highway that runs through a built-up area or town, and generally, urban road rules apply. Unless signed otherwise, the generic speed limit on these roads is 50 km/h for all vehicles (including cars, trucks, and motorcycles). The options of 40 km/h or 60 km/h are incorrect because they would require a specific vertical sign (R-301) modifying the general rule.
