Can a pedestrian be required to submit to a breathalyzer test?

Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

As a general rule, pedestrians do not undergo preventive checkpoints. However, according to General Traffic Regulations, all road users (including pedestrians) are obliged to submit to alcohol and drug detection tests if they are involved in a traffic accident. This measure seeks to determine the condition of those involved to clarify responsibilities. Therefore, mere suspicion without an infraction is not enough, nor are they always exempt; the key is involvement in an accident.
