Is it permitted to drive a vehicle that emits noise levels exceeding the limits established by regulations?

Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

The correct answer is: No, it is prohibited. According to General Traffic Regulations, it is strictly forbidden to drive vehicles that emit electromagnetic disturbances or noise above the established limits. Here is what you need to know: Open Exhaust Prohibition: Driving with a so-called 'open exhaust' or without an effective explosion silencer/muffler is prohibited. Breakdowns or Modifications: It does not matter the reason (a breakdown in the exhaust pipe or a modification); if it exceeds the allowed decibels, it cannot be driven. Immobilization: Authority agents can not only fine you but also immobilize the vehicle if the noise level exceeds the legally permitted levels, as it is considered noise pollution harmful to the environment and other users.
