Among the mandatory vehicle equipment, which accessory must the driver of a passenger car carry?

Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

The correct answer is a danger warning device. Under current Spanish regulations (2026), passenger cars must mandatorily carry the DGT 3.0 connected V-16 luminous signal (traditional triangles are no longer valid). Additionally, a high-visibility reflective vest is mandatory. Why the other options are incorrect: A fire extinguisher: This is only mandatory for vehicles intended for goods transport (trucks), buses, or cars towing heavy trailers, but not for a standard private passenger car. An oil can: This is not a mandatory accessory. While it is recommended to monitor fluid levels, the law does not require carrying spare fluids in the vehicle.
