Which vehicles are included in the 'special vehicles' category?

Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

According to the General Vehicle Regulations, a special vehicle (V.E.) is one, whether self-propelled or towed, that has been designed and built to perform specific works or services and which, due to its characteristics, is exempt from complying with some of the standard technical requirements. This category is mainly divided into agricultural special vehicles and special vehicles for works and services. Therefore, both agricultural tractors (self-propelled) and agricultural trailers (non-motorized vehicles designed to be towed by an agricultural tractor) fall fully within the definition of a special vehicle.
