The correct answer is the transport of people and goods, simultaneously or otherwise. According to General Vehicle Regulations, an adaptable mixed vehicle is an automobile specially arranged to transport, simultaneously or not, goods and people up to a maximum of 9 seats (including the driver). Its main characteristic is flexibility: the load capacity can be replaced, partially or totally, by people through the addition of seats, or vice versa. It is mandatory to have a grid or separating protection element when transporting cargo along with passengers to ensure safety. It differs from a passenger car (people only) and a truck or van (mainly goods).
