What period of time must pass without committing new infractions to recover the points balance if the loss was due to a very serious infraction?

Question

DentroTest · Accepted Answer

To recover the initial credit of points (12 points), the driver must not have been administratively sanctioned for acts involving the loss of points for 2 years. With the latest reform of the Traffic Law, this period was unified, eliminating the old distinction between serious and very serious infractions. Therefore, regardless of the severity of the original infraction, the waiting period is always 2 years.
